About Us

Brownrigg Farming is owned by ourselves, Paul & Sue Brownrigg, along with our two sons John and Richard.

We sell everything that we produce ourselves on our farms; free range Chickens from our Saso cross birds, free range Ducks from our Pekin birds, Beef from our herd of pedigree Ruby Red North Devon cattle, Lamb from our flock of ewes and Pork from our Saddleback pigs every week throughout the year.

The poultry is plucked on our Farm every Tuesday and it is allowed to mature, giving the meat more flavour and tenderness. We prepare our poultry ready for the table to sell at the Farmers Market in Newport every Friday or for collection from our Sheepwash Farm, Godshill over the week-end. We also provide home deliveries for people living on the Isle of Wight.
All of our home reared poultry is fresh and so is suitable for home freezing. We do not use antibiotics or growth promoters in our poultry feed and we use our own wheat whenever practical.

A butcher helps out on the family farm so that meat joints can be supplied to customers' requirements, any cut, any quantity, and always the same superb quality. We always have special prices on frozen joints.

In addition every Christmas we sell our own free range Turkeys, both Traditional and Bronze, and Geese and locally shot Game on the Isle of Wight.

Beth makes her own preserves which are also available to buy.
